Spiral Gear Drawing Toy

A spiral drawing toy, like the classic gear sets. A wheel rolls inside or outside a ring and a pen traces the path: rosettes, stars, petals, lace and loops. Or switch to Lissajous curves, which combine two sine waves.

• Three curve types: wheel inside the ring, wheel outside the ring, and Lissajous (including damped Lissajous)
• 13 presets, plus Randomize for a new pattern every click
• Set the ring and wheel size, pen distance, turns, line weight and ink color (black, vermilion, teal or any color you pick)
• By default the curve stops when it closes, so every drawing is complete
• Download SVG (vector, sized in millimetres, for pen plotters and cutters) or a 2400×2400 PNG, or print it
